Google launches YouTube Pro video series to help channel owners
Google's new video series helps users to turn their YouTube channel into a full-time gig.
Google has announced a new video series that is aimed at encouraging users turning their YouTube channel into a full-time gig. The series, called YouTube Pro, helps channel owners on a range of issues such as crowd funding and working with advertisers to finding a manager and running your own web series.

“The first topic we’ll cover is “Working with Advertisers”. In these four videos, learn from Dane Boedigheimer, Spencer Griffin of College Humor, Kurt Hugo Schneider and Elle Walker about all aspects of effectively pitching and executing branded content deals. They give advice on pitching an idea, what to include in a contract, how to price a deal, as well as to stay true to your audience through the process,” say Bryan Carroll and Liz Hartnett, YouTube Next Lab in a YouTube post.

YouTube will also be hosting live events that will take place in New York, Los Angeles and London soon.

The new series comes shortly after the video-sharing network celebrated its 8th birth anniversary. YouTube revealed it sees more than 100 hours of videos upload per hour on average. Google has of late worked to increase user engagement on YouTube as well as bring more advertisers. Google recently announced paid video subscriptions service for YouTube.
