Sony Xperia Z goes up for pre-order

Sony Xperia Z
Sony's Full HD Xperia Z smartphone has gone up for pre-order in the UK with a new release date of 28 February.
Mobile networks and online retailers have put the Sony Xperia Z up for pre-order in the UK. The Android Jelly Bean smartphone will go on sale on 28 February, according to a number of them, rather than 1 March given by online retailers such as Clove.

Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three, said: "We’re extremely pleased to offer the Xperia Z for pre-order from the 1st February and coupled with our highly competitive price plans and no surprise out of bundle data charges, this premium smartphone brings you the ultimate internet experience all on our Ultrafast network"
Three is offering contracts from £34 per month with an upfront cost of £69 for the Xperia Z. The firm's Pay As You Go price is £449. O2's cheapest price with a free handset is £44 per month or you could opt for £13.50 per month but with an upfront cost of £479.
